- Nagarjun Eco Home (2023) located in Batase Danda, Nagarjun incorporates a vernacular Himalayan architectural style with load bearing stone masonry walls and timber flooring supported on metal frames. The unit is built in an area of 15 anna and lies in outskirts of Kathmandu nearby White Gumba.The self service rental home consists of a living room, kitchen and toilet in the ground floor and two bedrooms in the first floor. The roofing is done with slate and the flooring is completed with telia tiles. The use of stone and timber in the interior provides an organic and warm atmosphere to the interior space which helps the visitors to detox themselves from their everyday life even further. The masons for the project were brought from Solukhumbu who had vast working experiences in vernacular construction technology.
